The list of human missense variants collated in the database were derived from the Uniprot homo_sapiens_variation.txt repository, version 2025-03.


ClinVar annotations

ClinVar annotations for missense variants mined from homo_sapiens_variation.txt were obtained through the Ensembl Variant Effect Predictor (VEP).


AlphaMissense predictions

The precomputed AlphaMissense predictions for all variants in our database have been downloaded and are shown on the results page for each selected variant. Note that where it is detected that an AlphaMissense prediction has "aged" the prediction will not be shown.
